R.O.S.C.A. Money Circle and Cultura Chamoy are SO excited to bring TWO $500 scholarships to eligible high school and undergraduate students and it only takes three easy steps:

SCHOLARSHIP OVERVIEW

The R.O.S.C.A. Money Circle Scholarship Program, in collaboration with Cultura Chamoy, is offering two (2) scholarships of $500 each to eligible high school and undergraduate students in the United States. This scholarship aims to support students in their educational pursuits and recognize academic achievement and potential.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

• Academic Status: Must be currently enrolled as a high school student (grades 9-12) OR undergraduate student at an accredited U.S. educational institution (trade schools not permitted at this time)

• Age: Must be 18 years or older to participate, OR if under 18, must have parent/legal guardian consent and participation

• Social Media: Must follow both @CulturaChamoy and @R.O.S.C.A. on Instagram throughout the entire scholarship period

• Mobile App: Must download the R.O.S.C.A. App and maintain active status

• Contact: Must be subscribed to the Metiche email list and provide valid email for direct contact

• Support Network: While only two email entries per student (school email & personal email) are permitted, family members and friends are encouraged to sponsor a student by signing up as well. No limit to how many family and friends can sponsor a student

APPLICATION TIMELINE

• Application Period: September 30, 2025 - October 28, 2025 (11:59 PM PST)

• Winner Notification: October 29, 2025 via email provided in the Metiche subscriber list

• Response Deadline: Winners have 48 hours (2 business days) from notification to respond and provide required documentation

• Public Announcement: November 4, 2025

APPLICATION PROCESS

• Self-Nomination: Students may nominate themselves

• Third-Party Nomination: Family members or friends may nominate eligible students (nominee must consent to participation)

• Two-Entry Rule: Only two email entries per student are permitted (personal & school email), regardless of who submits the application

• Support Encouraged: While only two email entries are allowed (student’s personal & school email), family members and friends may sponsor the student by signing up as well. There is no limit to how many family and friends can sponsor a student

• Primary Contact: All communications must go through the official Metiche email subscriber system

WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION

Winners will be selected by a panel designated by R.O.S.C.A. Money Circle and Cultura Chamoy based on the Metiche newsletter sign-ups during the scholarship period dates.

Winners will be contacted via email and Instagram direct message on October 29, 2025

Required Information Once Selected via Metiche Newsletter Sign-Up:

• Full name and contact information

• Current school name and enrollment verification

• Academic year/grade level

• Academic Advisor Contact Information

• Current unofficial transcript or grade report

• Proof of Instagram following (screenshot required)

• Proof of R.O.S.C.A. App download (screenshot required)

CRITICAL DEADLINE: Winners must respond within 48 hours with:

• Acceptance of scholarship terms

• Current school enrollment verification (transcript, enrollment letter, or registrar confirmation)

• Valid government-issued identification (driver’s license, state ID, Permanent Resident Card, or passport)

• Payment preference selection

• Completed W-9 form (for tax reporting purposes)

RUNNER-UP SELECTION

If any winner fails to respond within the 48-hour deadline or cannot provide required verification, the next qualified applicant (runner-up) will be selected and have the same 48-hour response requirement. Up to three (3) runner-ups will be selected for each scholarship position.

PAYMENT METHODS

Scholarship funds will be distributed via ONE of the following methods (winner’s choice):

• Zelle (requires valid U.S. phone number or email associated with U.S. bank account)

• Personal Check (mailed to verified address via certified mail)

• Money Order (mailed to verified address via certified mail)

• Cashier’s Check (mailed to verified address via certified mail)

CASH PAYMENTS ARE NOT AVAILABLE

Payment will be processed within 10-14 business days after all required documentation is received and verified. Winners will receive a 1099-MISC tax form if required by IRS regulations.

LEGAL PROTECTIONS AND LIABILITY

By participating in this scholarship program, applicants agree to the following:

• Release of Liability: Participants release R.O.S.C.A. Money Circle, Cultura Chamoy, and their respective owners, employees, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, or damages arising from participation in this scholarship program

• Verification Rights: Sponsors reserve the right to verify all information provided and disqualify any applicant providing false information

• Privacy: Personal information collected will be used solely for scholarship administration and promotional purposes related to this program

• Publicity Rights: Winners consent to the use of their name, likeness, and scholarship story for promotional purposes by R.O.S.C.A. Money Circle and Cultura Chamoy

• Tax Responsibility: Winners are responsible for any tax implications of receiving scholarship funds

• No Purchase Necessary: No purchase or payment is required to enter or win

• Data Protection: All personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws

DISQUALIFICATION CONDITIONS

Participants may be disqualified for:

• Providing false or misleading information

• Failing to meet eligibility requirements

• Unfollowing required Instagram accounts during the scholarship period

• Deleting or uninstalling the R.O.S.C.A. App during the scholarship period

• Failure to respond within specified deadlines

• Violation of Instagram terms of service

• Any fraudulent or deceptive behavior

• Failure to maintain minimum 2.5 GPA requirement

• Academic misconduct or disciplinary action at their educational institution

PROGRAM MODIFICATIONS

R.O.S.C.A. Money Circle and Cultura Chamoy reserve the right to:

• Modify these terms and conditions with reasonable notice

• Cancel or postpone the scholarship program due to circumstances beyond their control

• Verify winner eligibility through additional documentation if needed

• Adjust timeline due to unforeseen circumstances (with minimum 48-hour notice)

GOVERNING LAW

This scholarship program is governed by the laws of California, and any disputes will be resolved in the courts of California. Both R.O.S.C.A. Money Circle and Cultura Chamoy operate under California jurisdiction for this program.

FINAL PROVISIONS

• Scholarship awards are non-transferable and non-refundable

• Incomplete applications will not be considered

• Decisions of the selection committee are final and binding

• These terms and conditions constitute the complete agreement regarding this scholarship program

• Scholarships must be used for educational purposes (tuition, books, supplies, or educational expenses)

• Winners may be required to provide proof of educational expense usage

By applying for this scholarship, applicants acknowledge they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
