About the App

Despite being one of the largest and fastest-growing demographics, Latines in the U.S. have always struggled with financial education and access. A bad mix of scarcity mentality, money wounds, language barriers, and systemic oppression have kept our communities locked into financial deserts. Yet, we’ve always pulled through. We’ve always found ways to rally together, relying on one another to build better lives for the generations to come.

R.O.S.C.A.™ was born from this same fortaleza. This desire for more, for all of us. We set out to create a modern-day platform that preserving the spirit of unity and trust found in traditional Tandas. While many ask, 'What is a Tanda?', our community knows it as a lifeline—a way to pool resources when traditional banks turn us away. R.O.S.C.A.™ was born to bring this fortaleza into the digital age.

It’s Personal

Cindy’s unique worldview from being both a college professor and a child of Mexican-immigrants has evolved into a deep passion for social justice, equity, and accessibility, especially for the Latine community.

Growing up watching her family and neighbors take part in the traditional Tanda (also known as cundinas or roscas), she knew this age-old tradition was the key to our community’s wealth. She saw that while the Tanda worked, there had to be a way to modernize it with tech, security, and global reach.
